Designed to raise understanding and knowledge, the app is packed with advice for security guards and staff who work in publicly accessible spaces.

The App has action cards for the most important threats and more than 150 quiz questions with explanations if the wrong answer is selected. The design is to combat the tendency for training to be forgotten, and ensure that the actions to take are always in your pocket.

Chris Phillips commented. “The Manchester Area bombing was a wake-up call that exposed a weakness in risk assessment, staff training and response to terrorist attacks. Crowded spaces have always been a top target for terrorists and the upcoming legislation on The Protect Duty will strengthen defences. I am convinced this new app will help make these places safer and potentially save lives.”

YUDU Sentinel CEO Richard Stephenson commented “ It has been a pleasure to harness Chris Phillip’s expertise in developing this app. We have made it free and without data collection to ensure it can be easily adopted by all organisations.  The concept is for continuous training by using the quiz with the onus on self-improvement.  It is available now on the Apple App Store and the Android version will be released shortly.
