Professional Security appoints new director

Professional Security has continued to build its management team with the appointment of Demelza Staples as Process and Transformation Director.

The new position has been created in response to Professional Security’s impressive growth over the past 18 months. Experienced in delivering change management processes and systems, Demelza has worked in senior management positions for pub company Ei Group, which was bought by Stonegate and latterly security firm, SSGC. Demelza is also former co-chair of the Food and Drink Security Association (FDSA).

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Professional Security at this exciting time in its journey, which has seen it successfully expand into new sectors. The vision for the business and the way in which it seeks to create a thriving and rewarding place to work, was something that I very much wanted to be part of.

Based near Leeds in a new 9,000 sq ft head office, featuring a 24/7 high-tech control room, Professional Security has a team of over 8,000 qualified security professionals across the UK.
